Soccors is a Canadian business that delivers basic necessities to communities across North America. We won’t stop until the problem is solved for good.
The Need
Reliable access to clean water is the first challenge we’re taking on. Hundreds of North American communities continue to face unsafe or unreliable water access, with some living under boil-water advisories for decades. It’s where we’re starting, but it’s only the beginning.
Not having access to safe water is never just a plumbing problem. It drives illness, economic hardship, mental health crises, forced displacement, and the erosion of cultural identity
Our Approach
Aspirin may make the headache go away, but not the disease. You don’t solve people’s water problems by handing them water bottles.
Short-term
1. Immediate Relief
We install in-home filtration systems so families have safe drinking water as soon as possible.
Mid/long-term
2. Community Infrastructure
We build and upgrade community-level water treatment systems so they are durable, maintained, and locally operated.
Long-term
3. Root Causes
We work with communities to identify and address the political, industrial, and environmental sources of contamination so the problem doesn’t come back.

Soccors (pronounced SOK-kors) comes from the Latin succurro: to hasten to the aid of. We don’t hope for better days. We’re out to make them happen.
Founded in 2026 by Patrice Godbout, a water treatment specialist who got tired of watching nearby communities go without basic necessities.
